Step One

Step one is to weigh in. Check. 229 a gain of 6 pounds in 2 weeks. I've lost motivation and I've lost the desire to care. There is a part of me that really wants to get going again but a larger part making the excuses.

I've made it to the blog and I've made it to the scale.................

Krista - GREAT JOB on the post. Next Step? Counting points!!!! You said you were going to post goals today!! What are your goals this week. Start out slow if you like!!! Why are you not "in the mood" for this?

Why do we want to engage in a weight loss program? To look better to feel better? Why do you want to do this? What would happen if you didn't? Would you feel worse--mentally and physically? What are you willing to sacrifice today to feel better tomorrow? I want to challenge you to think about why you engage in a weight loss program, then to make goals that are reasonable and achievable.
Lots of times I think: "Is this dish of ice cream worth facing the extra pounds in a week?" This is because of what I want, not what anyone else wants.
